I'm Michelle Chen, an artist based in the Cambridge, ON, Canada!
I was born in California but spent most of my life in Burlington, growing up across from beautiful Lake Ontario. Painting has always been one of my favourite things to do and with five cats and a dog, there's never a shortage of muses to draw either! Professionally, I specialize in background art for animation and have also done colour design for characters and props. I've had a chance to work on some amazing shows that highlight diversity and bring engaging stories to the screen and I hope to be a part of more in the future! When I'm not hunched over my Cintiq, you can usually find me cooking too much food, gaming, or trying to redecorate my house.
