The Rankin-Bass film based on the beloved novel, The Last Unicorn, has always been a huge inspiration to myself as an artist and the kinds of stories I love. These BG designs explore the poignant, melancholic story in an adult-animation style with influences from anime and gothic-fantasy aesthetic.
